Stella Oduah On Suspension!

Revelations from the National Assembly probe in the StellaGate saga may have caused  President Goodluck Jonathan to place Stella Oduah On Suspension

“Oduah will not be allowed to attend public functions that will have the President in attendance until the three-member committee  set up to investigate the matter turns in its report.” A reliable Presidency source said Jonathan decided on the 'tactical suspension' hours before the signing of the Bilateral Air Service Agreement between Nigeria and Israel on Monday.
Recalled that the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Aviation, George Ossi, told the House of Representatives Committee probing Stella Oduah that she led a Nigerian delegation to Israel to sign the BASA. But that did not happen as she was rendered a mere spectator.
It was the ‘suspension’ that made Jonathan to direct the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Viola Onwuliri, to sign the agreement instead of Oduah on behalf of Nigeria.
In what seemed a corroboration of the “tactical suspension,” the Special Adviser to the President on Political Matters, Mr. Ahmed Gulak, insisted that Jonathan would not associate with or shield anybody found to be corrupt. He told Punch that Stella Oduah is not even part of Jonathan's delegates.

Use of Body Language to Attract Women

So I walked into a bar a couple years back, head held high, chest out. Actually, I have to say I strutted in. I paused, making a grand entrance. I looked around for single women and made eye contact with every one of them that I could. I then strutted up to the bar and sat. I was determined to use my body language to attract women. I'd been reading about how to do that and figured it was easy. All I had to do was strut like a peacock. Pretend I'm an Alpha male. Do those things and I'd have the women flocking to me. At least that's what I'd read.
I couldn't have been more wrong. Using your body language to attract women takes a complete shift in your view of yourself and your view of everyone else. To say I had no success that night would be an understatement. You see, I did just about everything wrong. Once I'd caught the eyes of one particular lady I stared. Yup, I stared. I didn't understand the difference between a lingering gaze and a stare. Then I got up, walked up to her (sorry strutted), let my hand rest on her shoulder, leaned down and mumbled something like, "I couldn't help but notice you checking me out." Ultra confident. She laughed. And all of you reading this can laugh too. I slithered away. I'm sure it's not hard for you to imagine the scene. We've all seen it so many times in bar after bar, night after night.
The thing about using body language to attract women is that you just can't fake it. If you try to the woman, actually everyone, will know. So I had to backtrack. I couldn't just read one article on how to use my body language to attract women, I had to read lots. And it all came down to a fundamental shift in how I viewed myself. Michael Jackson's Doctor, Conrad Murray, Regains Freedom

Michael Jackson's Doctor, Conrad Murray, who went to prison over the death of Pop star, Michael Jackson has regained his freedom. He was convicted of involuntary manslaughter for giving Michael a lethal dose of anaesthetic.

He spent two years in prison and has lost his license to practice in parts of the US. But Dr Conrad has always insisted he had done nothing wrong and did not contribute to Jackson's death, as he continue to argue that the singer administered the drug to himself.

He walked out of the Men's Central Jail as a free man at 12:01 on Monday. He was escorted by sheriffs, to avoid the press and Michael Jackson fans waiting for him outside.

Dr. Conrad said he would fight to regain his license to continue practice as a medical doctor.

Eaglets to face Iran in second round

The draw for the second round of the 2013 FIFA U-17 World Cup in the UAE was completed on Friday with Nigeria billed to face Iran on Tuesday, October 29.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the last games in the third series of first round group matches were played on Friday evening in Dubai and Al Ain City.
The matches were in Groups E and F and they ensured the emergence of the last qualifiers for the eight Round of 16 matches.
The games are billed to for October 28 and October 29 at six venues.
Nigeria had qualified after topping Group F with seven points from three matches, following 6-1 and 5-0 wins over Mexico and Iraq respectively, and a 3-3 draw with Sweden.
The Golden Eaglets will on Tuesday, October 29 face Iran in the last second round match, billed for Al Ain City at 4pm Nigerian time.
Iran had qualified after coming second in Group E, after one win and two draws for five points from three games.

Pope Francis Suspends Bishop Franz-Peter Tebartz-van Elst

Pope Francis has suspended a German prelate, Bishop Franz-Peter Tebartz-van Elst, and he is expected to be on suspension indefinitely. The Bishop, who is now being described as the "luxury bishop" is said to have spend a whooping $43m (about N6.8billion) of Church money on his residence.

An audit of Bishop Franz-Peter's residence revealed that it is fitted with:

1. a free-standing bath that cost 15,000 euros (N3m),
2. a conference table that cost 25,000 euros (N5m),
3. a private chapel for 2.9 million euros (N594m).

The issue is said to be a major embarrassment to Pope Francis, who has consistently warned Bishops and other leaders in the Catholic Church, and Christians in general, not to live like princes but consider the poor.

Husband Catches His Wife Red Handed With Lover In A Hotel

 With this kind of mess, it is getting clearer these days that some married women are living with their husband but carrying the baby of another man inside the same house. Immorality of the highest order!

It was the end of the road for this promiscuous married woman as her husband caught her in a local hotel as she was busy doing things with her lover. Unfortunately, the woman, said to be very quiet and acting like she can't even hurt a fly, is already pregnant.

The husband stormed the cheap hotel where his quiet wife was "enjoying" herself  following a tip-off, and he was shocked beyond words. He is now doubting if he is indeed responsible for his wife's pregnancy.

A source say the man she followed to the hotel was her former boyfriend before she got married recently.

TWO Americans kidnapped off Nigerian Coast

The US Embassy in Nigeria has confirmed the kidnap of two American sailors off Nigeria’s coast.
Pirates operating off Nigeria’s coastal waters on Wednesday attacked an oil vessel and took the two Americans hostage.
The abduction was confirmed by the Information Officer at the U.S. Embassy in Abuja, Rhonda Ferguson-Augustus, who explained that the Embassy would soon release a statement on the kidnap.
The U.S.-flagged oil export vessel, C-Retriever, was said to have been a target by the pirates in the Gulf of Guinea, which has in recent times become notorious for such incidents.

The captain and chief engineer of C-Retreiver attacked on Wednesday morning were reportedly abducted by the pirates aboard the oil vessel owned by Louisiana-based Edison Chouest Offshore.
The spokesperson of the Nigerian Navy, Kabiru Aliyu, said though the command was yet to receive any formal report of the kidnap of the Americans, it has however issued directives to its operatives to ensure that they search for and effect the rescue of the affected persons.
Mr. Aliyu said it was difficult for the agency to know the exact location the incident took place off Nigeria’s coast.

The President and his team are expected to hold talks with Israeli government officials, focusing on the enhancement of bilateral relations between Nigeria and Israel in areas including trade, economic development, infrastructure, transportation, agriculture, communications, culture, education and tourism.

NFF Must Pay Me - Keshi

Super Eagles’ Coach Stephen Keshi on Wednesday described the seven-month salaries being owed him by the Nigeria Football Association (NFA) as “the lowest point” of his coaching career. Keshi said this in Abuja at the Home-based Super Eagles’ interactive session with the media ahead of the team’s upcoming international friendly with Jordan in Amman.

He spoke in reaction to a statement credited to the NFA that the allowances and bonuses the team’s coaches earn were enough to sustain them. Keshi is being owed about N35million in salary arrears.
K eshi however said the NFA had not done him any favour with the Super Eagles’ coaching job, because he had done the job with all he had.


Owing me up to seven months makes me feel I am not being appreciated. It is like they (my employers) think I am being favoured in what I am doing.

Ex-PMAN president Mustapha Amego dies after battle with cancer

Former President of the Performing Musicians Association of Nigeria (PMAN), Mustapha Amego, has died after a long battle with colon cancer. The musician and former TV personality, who relocated to the US many years ago, died yesterday October 23rd in Baltimore, Maryland, US.

  Mustapha was also PMAN president  from 1993 to 1996. After his  tenure, he relocated to the US where he worked with the Discovery Channel as a content producer and editor.

He will be buried today according to Muslim rites. May his soul rest in peace...Amen.
